Wildcat Wish romps in the Fremont Stakes

Rode by Luis “El Merenguero” Negron, Wildcat Wish (Wildcat Heir – Rahy’s Wish by Rahy) romps with a six lengths victory in the $70,000 Fremont Stakes at Delta Downs. The Sam’s Town Stakes winner took the lead at the top of the stretch and never looked back finishing with authority giving to Loza Racing their first Stakes victory on 2017.

“Can’t be more proud of all my team.” Said Efren Loza Jr. “It took us a few tries to get our first win of the year, but tonight we got two.” Loza Jr. won the first race of the program on January 21st at Delta Downs with the first timer Javiera, a daughter of the Kentucky Derby Winner Big Brown that broke her maiden on 59 and change for five furlongs.

Owned by St. George Stable LLC, Wildcat Wish 4 year-old seems to love Delta Downs racetrack where has two Stakes victories in three starts. This triumph represents the number 5 in 18 presentations with earnings of $232,455.
